I guess Ms. magazine is going to publish the names of women who are “proud” to have had an abortion. I was sickened by reading this - one woman said she didn’t want anything to get in her way of her education. So sad.
I hope this link shows up - I’ve never posted an article on here before.

I can’t find the article, but I read that the women who engineered this will not divulge whether or not she has had an abortion. Anyone know more about this?

I read about it as well. There were three somewhat-famous actresses mentioned (who I never heard of), and I found it interesting that when I researched each of their biographies, all three of them identified themselves as bisexual.

You could always flip it around to this: out of how many million abortions there are a year, only 5000 were proud? That, too, is a vain attempt by the pro-choice crowd to make it look like people are proud of their abortions.

This is really sick and sad:mad: How could these people live with themselves knowing they ***murdered *** someone! ughh really really sad 😦

Podo

This is really SAD  but it is not our place to judge these people. They are the ones who will have to live with the consequences of their actions and answer to God. I tell you deep down inside they regret their actions. They may feel proud to put their names down and be counted but eveytime you see a small baby you are reminded of what you did. And as you grow older you see kids that could have been that child’s age.

Pray for them don’t hate and dispise them that is not your right. They will be judged one day and that is not our place no matter how angry and upset we are about it, it is their burdens to bare not ours. They have to wake up every morning and look in the mirror at themselves and be reminded about what they did. Even if they feel that they had a valid reason for doing what they did in the eyes of God it is wrong. No matter what they say it is wrong but things have a very funny way of coming back to bite you and that is what people do not understand. People are not afraid of God and not afraid of their actions and that their actions have consequences.

There is also a website called I’m not sorry .com or something like that, with basically the same idea. Read it if you ever want to be saddened and enraged.

One person said, “As I walked home from my abortion, I passed an open window where I heard a baby crying. I snickered, knowing that it wouldn’t be me.”

What kind of heartless, twisted monster do you have to be to have such a sick view of a crying baby? I know we’re supposed to pray for mercy and conversion, but I can’t help but feel better knowing that hell is just waiting with open arms…😦

remember, out of all evil comes great good. For all the women who claim to be ‘proud’ of having abortions there are thousands having the courage to speak up and say they regret having made the decision to end the life of their children. Consider how many children have lost their lives as a result of abortion and 5000 standing up and proclaiming their pride ain’t many.

Ann Coulter argues - abortion is the holiest of sacraments for the left.

I am also enraged at the thought of someone actually being proud of having an abortion. :banghead:
The devil definitely has alot of power in the world and as tough as it may be, we need to pray for the souls of those mothers and the souls of those babies that were murdered.
I had a friend who had an abortion last year simply because she didn’t want the baby.
As someone who was adopted, abortion is a hot topic for me because my biological mother was 16 years old when she had me but managed to find the courage to go full-term with the pregnancy and then place me up for adoption with a nice, Catholic family.
It’s hard not to get angry but I try and leave it up to God to “judge” these people, as He alone can see what’s in their hearts. Easier said than done, believe me.

I think we should start our own campaign named…

" I Had A Baby"

Campaign!!

What do you think? Maybe someone can start a new thread and we can start to sign it! My mother could sign it 3 times and my grandmother 8 times.

I hope I didn’t come across as judging these women. I just felt awful reading about it & thinking that there are women who are proud of it. I certainly will be praying for all of them.

Woman Who Had 5 Abortions Finds "Love From Above"

This illustrates the success of killing the conscience of these women by society’s misformation and emphasis on hedonism.

It is very sad.

We all need to pray for their conversion of heart.

:gopray2: Dear God, we ask you to grant to the women and all others with a weaken conscience a true understanding of what they have done. We ask you to call them back and seek healing for what they have done to themselves and their children. We ask you to help end the holocaust of abortion and bring all people back to living in a society of love. We thank you for all you do for all of us. Amen. :gopray2:

EXAXTLY!

This is so misguided, it’s hard to know how to respond.

For one, I find it ironic that the right first recognized by Roe to make the decision to have an abortion was based upon a “right to privacy” deduced as emanating from other expressed and enumerated rights in the Constitution. I recognize that there is a distinction between the zone of privacy which entitles one to make a decision vs. the kind of privacy that relates to confidential information, but there is an unmistakable irony in these women advertizing their decision in this manner.

Second, no matter your religious/moral conviction, every abortion represents a failure. A failure of judgment, character, self-respect, responsibility, self-control, common sense. Even abortion rights proponents continually push to reduce the number of abortions that are “necessary.” Given this, why in the world would anyone want to publicly celebrate a failure of such a profound nature?!?!

I’m utterly befuddled.
