There is definitely something wrong with being “proud” to have an abortion, however after reading the article I have to say I don’t think that’s what it was about.

It was about being “unashamed” to have an abortion and I think there is a BIG difference between the two.

Under no circumstances should anyone be “proud” to have an abortion and I don’t think many are. There are probably circumstances where you should feel ashamed, but then again I can think of a few that should my mother have had to make the tough decision to abort me, I would hope she would NOT feel ashamed.

If conditions were not favorable and my mother felt aborting me would put one of my potentially unborn brothers or sisters (i say potentially unborn because she can only raise so many children) in a much better position down the road I would gladly give up my undesirable/impaired chance at life for their better opportunity. It seems like it would be very selfish of me to think otherwise.

So really that was just an article on a portion of people who have had abortions that were unashamed due to their circumstances and who are we to judge their circumstances.

God Bless!

There is also a website called I’m not sorry .com or something like that, with basically the same idea. Read it if you ever want to be saddened and enraged.(
Indeed:

“I am an ordained Christian minister and have had two abortions. I am very glad that I did. I feel that I served God in these hard decisions.”

I find it interesting that you are so “comfortable” with your abortions that you felt the need to go on line and justify them.

In my experience you are in for a very rough time when the true horror of what you have done hits-as much as 10 to 20 years after the fact for many women. I hope I am wrong-as much as I despise what you have done I would not wish the misery I have witnessed in post abortive women on anyone. If/When it does hit I suggest that you check our Project Rachael hopeafterabortion.com/

In the meantme i will be praying for you and your dead children.

I fail to see the difference. in fact one who is not at least ashamed about killing ones child t would seem to be just as bad as being proud of it.

So what “emotion” should one feel after killing their child?

Easy for you to say since you have already “escaped” from the womb.

I think most people can feel quite justified in judging people who kill their children.

why do people feel so sorry for these selfish buttholes? they killed thier children and are now in one sense or another condoning it and encoraging it with this magazine. these women are the lowest of the low, along with child molesters.

the worst part is to see the middle aged and older women who still haven’t repented. there is no fool like an old fool. they make me sick. the baby boomers are by and large a selfish and degenerate generation who’s sins have been transmitted to younger generations.

i’m happy there is hope in our youth.

estesbob, I think you misunderstood what Verdana was saying. it was quote from the “i’m not sorry.com” web sight meantioned in a previous thread.

well, I just got back from church and we are about to have or annual walk for life next weekend. the man incharge of the pro life committee read off some very sad stats. I thought I would share in on this thread to put the 5,000 women who are not sorry into perspective.

here in Duvaul County, there have been over 9,000 abortions in the last year. in Miami Dade county, over 21,000. in the state of FL, there have been over 90,000! that is so sad in disgusting. but that is just one state out of fifty. so 5,000 is a very small number of women when you put it into prespective like that.

folks, we need to pray hard. these 9,000 women here in the greater Jacksonville area are my neighbors. how many of your neighbors are doing the same thing? what if one of them is one of the women in ths ms article? we need to pray hard!
