  1. I don’t see what this has to do with 666. Furthermore, it’s pretty widely known that 616 is at least possibly also a correct way to read the number, and many hold that it is actually the only correct way to read the number.
  2. CASPIAN is an organization singlehandedly run by a woman named Catherine Albrecht. This woman goes out of her way to attack companies, and will do anything. There are no limits to her deceptive tactics. She is known for fabricating information. Quite frankly she’s a bit off the wall. Most recently, she made a big stink over the CVS ExtraCare Cards, making a variety of claims, all of which turned out to be completely fabricated. If there is a video about this, I’d have to say that it is in no way past her tactics to use religion to try to further her cause. I wouldn’t trust a word she says about anything.

The Mark of the Beast is, apart from esoterica, is after all part of a profane economic system. One will not be able to buy or sell without it. Merchants, not theologians, weep when Babylon falls. Catholics must make this defense with the accusations that Christ’s Church founded on Peter is the Whore of Babylon.

This remotely-readable RFID system is instant slavery which will be embraced as: removing all economic crime, including identity theft and counterfeiting; eradicating the lesser evil of the dreaded Income Tax for a Big Brother universal sales tax tracking every purchase; erasing all kidnapping fears with GPS tracking capabilities; and eradicating all liberty with this promised security. Katherine Albrecht deceives consumers and distorts facts for her own purposes, and its well documented.

Russia has been consecrated, and Sister Lucia has confirmed it.
No amount of complaining or conspiracy theories will change this fact. If you search the internet, you will find just as many Fatima conspiracy theories as you will about the “Illuminati.” That should be your first warning about these baseless claims.

And the mark of the beast is something that will be received for worshipping Satan, or possibly money, not for participating in an economic system while still worshipping Him.

(Furthermore, this is all completey irrelevant, because if there is anything wrong with some system that is developed, including these chips if it is that they are real, the Church will tell us we should not use them.)

Be careful with your terminology. What I showed you was not “numerology,” but “typology.”

Numerology, one of the occultic “-ologies,” assigns a numerical value to each letter of the alphabet, adds the numerical values of the numbers for each letter in a person’s name, collapses the numbers by adding the digits in a multiple digit number without consulting their place values – for example, 342 becomes “3 + 4 + 2 = 9” – and then takes that sole remaining digit and consults a chart assigning ambiguous emotional values to the number, and then the numerological “seer” consults the “astral plane” for “secret knowledge” about the person allegedly possessing those emotional qualities. :eek:

Again, what I did is “typology.” In typology, certain words in the Bible always symbolize essentially the same aspect of the salvation process. For example, “boat” always = “the Church.” In typology, certain numbers are just a different sort of word, which also have a definite, constant symbolic meaning. So, for instance, “two” always also symbolizes “the Church.” (So, when the “firmament” is created on the “second” day of creation, that tells us trhat the “firmament” is a symbol of “the Church.”) Number types in the Bible’s typology are multiplied and divided to create larger symbolic numbers.

No occultic “seeing,” consulting the “astral plane,” is involved.

Typology in the Bible is not occultic. Number types in the Bible are not “numerology.”

Keeping these distinctions clear is important. Fundamentalists intent on convincing the world that the Bible lacks symbolic value and should only be read literally tend to scream, “NUMEROLOGY! NUMEROLOGY!” when they hear about number types.

In answer to your REAL question – “Were fractional decimal places already part of the mathematics of the time?” the answer is that BASE TEN FRACTIONS, among other fractions, were, but not DECIMAL NOTATION, per se.

The transcendentalness of certain fractions was recognized by Pythagoras, a few hundred years before the time of Christ. You can see that referred to here…

This seems rather crazy to me.

It seems to me like many people spend all their time looking for the anti-christ instead of Christ.

It also seems to me like most of these people just don’t know how to recognize the anti-christ. It’s really all very simple. The anti-christ has been on earth for over 2000 years already. And the bible gives a very simple test for determining if one is an anti-christ.

We are called to obey the two great commandments. I don’t see what chips, economic systems, or misunderstood quotes from Revelations has anything to do with our obedience to these commandments, which is where my priorities are.
 
I too will not get the chip, no way, no how, they would have to against my will.

  1. The third secret has been released. Simply because she said it applies to a particular Bible passage does not mean that it necessarily does. It is possible that the secret reminded her of, or seemed similar to, a particular Bible passage, and because of this she may have said it concerned it. This does not imply necessity.
  2. Jesus tells us the mark of the beast is 666, or 616, specifically, not that it is any number. He is very specific.
  3. This is not an ad homminem attack. It is the simple fact that this woman is well known for being deceitful. Even in court it is perfectly acceptable to show a pattern of deceit on the part of a witness. If it is shown that the witness has a pattern of behavior, this is to be taken into account because if a person tends to do something in the past they are likely to do it again in the future. Katherine Albrecht has a pattern of being deceitful and dishonest, and in the most recent case (CVS) outright lying. If you want to say I am attacking her credibility, then I have no problem with that statement because the truth is her credibility is very shaky to say the least.

Absolutely. So many people, for instance televangelists, are so concerned with finding Satan that they don’t even bother to look for Jesus!

I would’nt get the RFID chip or that stupid J.P. Morgan Chase Blink card which has the RFID chip in it. Since my mom got that card she has been on a buying binge. I think something like that was in my PCS cell phone so I got rid of it.

“Private Revelation” does NOT mean that the revelation happened in a private setting. Rather, it means that the belief in the revelation is not REQUIRED for one to be a Catholic in good standing.

I also believe in the Fatima apparitions, but it is my choice as a Catholic to do so. Likewise, it is my choice as a Catholic to NOT believe in them if I so wish.
