Solomon was a type of Christ in that
he built the Temple of God
he was the Son of David
he was known for his great wisdom
The corruption of the best becomes the worst ! Solomon’s fall from grace to become a type of antichrist
Solomon broke God’s law for kings he married many foreign women and allowed them to bring their idolatrous religions into Israel
He built up a great army instead of relying on God
Also he took bad advice and brought in exorbitant taxes .
Rev. 13:18 Here is wisdom. He, who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man ; and its number is six hundred and sixty six
The mark referred to in Rev.13:16 is a brand or a mark in the flesh of slaves indicating to whom they belonged. So the false prophet seeks to impress a mark on all.:knight2::bible1:

Another prophecy related to 666, is from Revelation 9:15 and involves Byzantium

Therefore, they reasoned, that using the axiom of ‘a day for a year’ the total period of time between the ‘cutting off’ and the ‘return’ of Christ would be 391 years. Constantinople fell in 1453. One-third part of the men of Christ were symbolically cut off with the fall of the centre of their faith to the Muslims.

Just want to make you aware that this is a Catholic forum and that no Catholic, or Christian, are going to take your Baha’i authority or any prophecies from your faith.
 
That may be true, but it can’t be said you weren’t told.
And they are not my interpretations --I’m sharing what I’ve found.
It would seem to me that even the Catholics would want to know everything they could find out about a Movement that purports to be another Revelation from God.
Even if it was not true, they would want to warn others about it.
But the choice most often made is to ignore the turtles advance and sleep like the hare.

There are no new public revelations from God. This is a dogmatic teaching from the Catholic Church.

So no, Catholics should not be interested in knowing anything that claims to be a revelation from God as the public revelation is complete and closed.
 
ByzCath my friend, many many Cathlics have already diverged from your lack of interest. Three times has God manifested spiritually uplifting Revealtions to mankind, since Jesus, and three times has the Catholic church opposed them.

The subject of what Revelation from God is, or is not, involves the suffering faced by every divine Prophet. You are saying exactly what the Jews said about Jesus. This is what the Qur’an had to say about that:
"‘The hand of God,’ say the Jews, ‘is chained up.’ Chained up be their own hands; And for that which they have said, they were accursed. Nay, outstretched are both His hands!" “The hand of God is above their hands.”
Although the commentators of the Qur’án have related in divers manners the circumstances attending the revelation of this verse, yet thou shouldst endeavor to apprehend the purpose thereof. He saith: How false is that which the Jews have imagined! I believe this is the oldest and most common interpretation:

We are told to COUNT the number – that is, add it up: “Let him that hath understanding COUNT the number of the beast…” (Rev. 13:18).

The number is the number of the beast. We identify the beast of Revelation by that number. The Bible interprets the symbol [beast] as a kingdom or the king who rules it (Dan. 7:17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 27). Therefore, 666 must be the number of the KINGDOM, or GOVERNMENT, or EMPIRE, as well as that of the king who founds or rules it.

The expression “the name of the beast, or the number of his name” shows that the number 666 is the number of the NAME OF THE KINGDOM or EMPIRE.

The expression “it is the number of a man” shows we must also count this number in the name of the king, or ruler, over the kingdom identified as the “beast.”

The founder and first king of Rome was Romulus. The Roman Empire was named after him. His name, the name of a MAN, also is the name of the KINGDOM. And every citizen in the kingdom bears the same name – a ROMAN.

When John wrote this Revelation, telling us to COUNT the number of the Beast, he wrote in the Greek language. Consequently, we should look for this name, and the number 666, in this language.

We are all familiar with the Roman numerals, where letters are used for numbers. For example, I is 1, V is 5, X is 10, etc. In the Greek language, in which Revelation was written, letters are also used for numbers.

In the Greek, the language in which Revelation was written, this name is “LATEINOS.” It signifies “Latin man” or “the name of Latium,” from which region the Romans derived their origin and their language. This word, too, signifies “ROMAN.” In the Greek, L is 30, A is 1, T is 300, E is 5, I is 10, N is 50, O is 70, S is 200. Counting these figures, we get exactly 666!

666 is the Roman Empire – the “Beast” of Revelation.

‘Alí ibn Abú Talib was married to Muhammad’s daughter Fatima, and was the father of Hasan and Husayn, and the line of Imams, those “12 Princes” promised to Abraham, through Ishmael.
In 638, Jerusalem was turned over to Caliph Umar by Patriarch Sophronius. Unfortunately, the third Caliph Uthman (pronounced Osman), had promoted the Umayyad Yazíd to administer Syria; and his brother Mu‘awiya succeeded him. Mu’awiya ordered ‘Alí, the fourth Caliph, attacked in Kufa (Najaf), Iraq, 27 January, 661, and he died two days later. ‘Alí, the first believer, the cousin and son-in-law of the Prophet, designated by Him orally as the Successor. ‘Alí was the first spiritual Imam, the first Muslim scribe and teacher of calligraphy.
By 666, Umayyad power was firmly established in Damascus. Mu’awiya dismissed the claims of Hasan ibn ‘Alí, and it is said he was poisoned by his wife, at Mu’awiya’s urging, in 669. This the “number of a man” a calendar year, but all works to the contrast of the Cause of God in the world, which cannot be defeated.

Catholics may have an interest in other religions but it is a Teaching of the Catholic Church that there will be no further public revelations.

We get this from the public revelation we have received.

If some Catholics do not believe this then they are not truly Catholics as they are holding to a belief that contrary to what the Catholic Church Teaches.
 
I like kepha 1’s post. All so complicated. We will know what or who it means if we live in the time it happens. The Holy Spirit will protect us from the evil one. I personally am not going to get bogged down in its meaning or when the end will come. It’s an obstacle to me trying to be ready when the end does come. For me the end could come when I finish this post. God Bless:confused:

Sorry but quoting from a text that is not recognized by Catholics will not prove your point to Catholics.

There will be no further public revelations after Christ as Christ is the fullness of God’s Revelations.

The Church does recognize the possibility of private revelations but those private revelations can not give anything new nor can they claim to superceed or be superior to public revelation.

Paragraph 66 from the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

**66 **“The Christian economy, therefore, since it is the new and definitive Covenant, will never pass away; and no new public revelation is to be expected before the glorious manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Yet even if Revelation is already complete, it has not been made completely explicit; it remains for Christian faith gradually to grasp its full significance over the course of the centuries.

Peter’s denial of Christ has nothing to do with this.

I am sorry that you can not understand that not everyone buys into what you believe.

The issue was “666”.
By 666, Umayyad power was firmly established in Damascus, and the grandsons of Muhammad’s family were hunted down like gazelles.
What relevance does this have for Chrisitans and the West and China and the whole world, unless Muhammad was a Prophet of God? My understanding is that centuries of denial of this by the Church leads you to shut the door on the subject; but there is still no other sensible explanation.
I am done here.
