Please pray for a 1st grade student of mine who suffers from a “brittle bone disease”. She can’t run, jump, or do many of the things an active 1st grader wants to do because the slightest fall or bump can cause a fracture or even paralysis. She is extremely frustrated with the situation and I’m afraid she could become depressed. Please pray for her. The worst part is that there is no cure or effective treatment so this problem is never going to get better for her.

Lord God, I lift up this child to Your loving mercy and care. Please touch her with Your mighty healing power and restore her to the best possible health. Protect, guard and guide her always and keep her safe from all harm. Surround her with family, loved ones, friends, mentors, and teachers who will be a source of comfort, support, and strength for her. All these I ask in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Amen.

Yeah, shure, every night. i think God can do great things with this. I see it all the time. God bless her and her family.

You might want to steer her parents toward the Shriner’s Hospital in your area. My nephew had a similar problem, and the Shriners lined up an experimental treatment by a bone doctor in Montreal. He’s now an adult an perfectly healthy.

She is already a patient there. There are three types of the disorder and her type doesn’t seem to respond to that treatment.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen***

Wow, this is truly a tragedy, especially for someone so young to suffer from such a debilitating affliction. I fervently pray for her healing, and for the healing of anyone else with this illness, but I also pray that she can remain strong through her trial, learning to suffer with faith, hope and charity by the example of Christ carrying His Cross. I pray that her family can carry her through this tragedy, just as Simon held Christ along the Way of the Cross, never giving up their love of God and never become frustrated or despairing, especially for the sake of this little girl, and that her family may be forgiven all their sins and that they may be protected from all sin and evil. I ask God that she may be able to be happy and enjoy life even despite her problems. I ask for the intercession of Our Lady of Sorrows, for this little girl’s guardian angel, and St. Philomena, patron saint against bodily ills. God bless. 🙂

Hail Mary
Full of Grace
The Lord is With Thee,
Blessed Art Thou Among Women
And Blessed is the Fruit of thy Womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for Us Sinners
Now, and at the Hour of Our Death.
Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen
