I know. I’ve seen some of the countless times you’ve had to correct people on these forums about this.I actually consider that a profound error, as would most Lutheran theologians through history.
But im this case, that can be forgiven as a genuine misunderstanding from the Catholic side.
I’ve seen way too many people, Catholic or Protestant, who would say Lutherans or even Catholics view the Supper as symbolic…
I think the article is above average, if the intent is to motivate ordinary people into learning more about the deeper theological issues. It nudges on all the important differences - justification, hermeneutics, authority. A person who reads a short article like this, and finds it interesting, may eventually stumble across these forums. Then people like you and GKC can further educate them about the non-monolithic protestant motleydom!
