Following the 8:30 Mass the group processed one mile to Planned Parenthood Express on LaGrange Ave, praying the Rosary and singing hymns. Bishop Gustavo prayed fervently for the close of Planned Parenthood and the conversion of those who support and seek abortions.

The Vigil for Life was coordinated by the Pro-Life Action League, with the cooperation of the Archdiocese of Chicago Respect Life Office, St. Michael’s Parish, the St. George Pro-Life Group and Illinois Right to Life Committee. Special thanks goes to Mary-Louise Kurey, director of the Respect Life Office and Fr. Michael Hack, pastor of St. Michael’s.

Just curious but was St Sabina’s represented?
I doubt it. Over the past year I know Fr. Pfleger had a Pro-Abortion politician give a homily during Mass. So I really doubt it.

Do an internet seach on “Pflefer pro abortion” and I think you will be surprised at what you see.

Interesting story. Glad so many people showed up!

In 2004 I was in St. Louis doing this: abortionno.org/RCC/trucks_highway03.html

On a Saturday morning we did it with 1 truck at: flickr.com/photos/bmmckinney/sets/72157601067837325/

There were over 200 prolife catholics saying the rosary from the Old Basilica after mass, not as many but similar situation.

As we were leaving in our truck the prolife side walk counselor waved us down, she said 2 women have come over to her and asked for help because they had seen the photo on the truck and couldn’t have an abortion.

Prayer is great, imagine how many other babies might have been saved if those 200 plus people had signs similar to the truck we had. I probably witnessed 50 women walk in for abortions.

I mentioned in another post that prayer is best in front of the eucharist or in our hearts. We should be showing women what abortion is at these abortuaries. If they see or hear you praying psycologically it has the opposite effect that it should most of the time. But so many women decide not to abort because they saw a graphic image of abortion.
