8.2 Earthquake in Sumatra

It is very interesting that this one occurred near the other one.
The last one being the day after Christmas and this one being the day after Easter.
 
Bottom line is that we are being chastized.

The porn state of California is under weather punishment as we speak.

Florida got it last year. Pre-chastisement? They are in a drought down there now. Maybe the whole state will burn to the ground this year?

Pacific coasts not affected.
 
Fox News just reported on the radio (12:40 EST) that if there is going to be a tsunami, it will probably hit Indonesia within 45 minutes to 2 hours from now.

Unfortuately, there’s no warning systems in these little villages…there’s no way to warn people.

Need some prayers here fast, folks!
 
I hope that anyone on the coast in the little villages high-tailed it for high land once the shaking stopped.

I’m a geology student (wanting to be a seismologist, actually), and this quake is really distressing to me, for some reason. (Here’s the USGS report on the quake, as well)

I’ll be praying for those affected. 😦

:crying: Our UK news is saying it is a 8.2 magnitude, uncertain if there will be a Tsunami but evaquations taking place.

God is not vengeful and doesn’t punish people by sending natural disasters.

Please pray. My brother in law and his family are in that region on holiday. I know they said they are going to Thailand, but I think they normally go to Phuket. Please pray that a tsunami doe not hit again!

It seems now there is no danger of Tsunami.

God created the world in such a way that when we sin there will be consequences. Its not because God hates us or rejected us, the natural disasters happen because we bring disasters on our selves. God allows the natural disasters to happen to bring good out of it. Why did it happen? Because we are not being holy as we should be.
