Someone at work told me about an 88-year-old woman who has just been diagnosed with leukemia, is seriously ill, and the doctors indicate that she may not survive the weekend.

One of this woman’s relatives is torn because this is the same weekend that she is supposed to travel long distance to see another aging relative …

Please pray for the whole family, especially the leukemia patient.

Thank you for your kindness toward someone who is a stranger, even to me!

For your intentions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

I am praying that her health improves so that she can make it through this weekend. And when her time to pass does come,I pray that God and his angels will be waiting to welcome her home.

Thank you for adding your prayers,

**BarbaraTherese, Spirithound, mylo, LilyM, ** and Meximo:

Your names were also on the prayer list that I brought with me to the Adoration Chapel this past Sunday so that I could pray for you and your intentions, along with the others already mentioned in my previous post. (And you’re very welcome, Mary ann R!) 🙂

As far as an update, not much information was volunteered beyond the weekend being mostly uneventful, and due to circumstances I feel uncomfortable asking beyond that.

In any case, I am sure that all our prayers have in some way helped the leukemia patient and her family, so thank you again for your kindness.

:blessyou:
