We met an elderly man in the grocery store today. His name is Stan and he is 93 years old. His wife, Gert, is 84 years old and she has Alzheimer’s. Stan told us he is worried that he is not going to be able to pass his driver’s license test because he has impaired vision. Stan also told us about his life with Gert.

I was wondering if we could all say a little prayer for Stan and Gert.

Thank you so much!

Therese

O Lord, we come to you with a prayer for Stan and Gert. They have grown old together Lord. They have stayed together all these years. Stan is suffering with worry about his wife and his ability to drive. We ask now that you pour your love out upon them Lord. I pray this in the name of Jesus… AMEN

I pray that God’s will be done on Stan’s driving test (Which may very well be that he fail his test for the safety of others on the road). I also pray for his wife Gert, that she stay healthy for as long as possible. I pray that Stan’s vision get better so he can continue to drive.

Hail Mary, full of grace; the lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Praying for Stan and Gert.
Dear Lord, If it is Your will that Stan does not pass his drivers test, Please give them the support and resources they need to continue to do your will in their lives. Amen
