There is one name under heaven, above heaven, and that is the only name necessary and wanted and loved and adored. The name is JESUS. There is no other name.

This is very significant ISTM - for the OT acknowledges God as Father. So does Christianity. If Islam does not, one has to wonder why.​

If the reason is that the revelation to Mohammed is a more adequate disclosure of the character of God - why does the conception of God in Islam not at least include the fatherhood of God; even if it goes beyond it ? A more adequate revelation would - surely ? - provide a truer, fuller, conception of God. The Muslim conception of God seems to be a denial, not a fulfilment or a surpassing, of Jewish & Christian ideas. The MC of G is more like some pre-Jewish Ancient Near Eastern ideas; not like an advance on them: & still less does it look like an advance on Christian ideas of God. It looks more like a return to an inferior form of religion.

OTOH, it may be an advance on (some) previous Arabian ideas. But that does not mean it is an advance on Jewish or Christian ideas; it can be better than previous ideas within Arabia, while being inferior to Jewish & Christian ideas.

Saint Paul, in his Second Epistle to the Thessalonians, [1 : 7–10], states:

“And to you who are troubled, rest with us when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven, with the angels of his power: In a flame of fire, giving vengeance to them who know not God, and who obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who shall suffer eternal punishment in destruction, from the face of the Lord, and from the glory of his power: When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be made wonderful in all them who have believed; because our testimony was believed upon you in that day.”

Don’t forget that Jesus uses the affectionate informal of “Father.” God is “Daddy!” AS a father, I am honored and intimidated by the fact that I am a “Daddy.” God saw fit to define Himself in one role that a mortal could reach. How beautiful is that? How tough a role? I am a type for the Father in my son’s life. There is evidence that the image of God that people have is based on the image of their father.

I am so glad that I am not “Master” to my son.

This is the biggist issue I have with Islam. Why was God “Daddy” under Jesus and now a master that we must serve and only live by his whim? Where is the choice of a slave? Serve or die? A daddy loves his children no matter what. A master NEVER TRULY LOVES HIS SLAVES, and more so when they displease him.

As an aside, what was Muhammid’s relationship with his father like? Who were the father-figures in his life?

They are of My God.

In the bible the holy prophet Jesus (PBWH) taught his followers how to pray after they asked him.

He referred to God as the Father. He also is narrated as stating God is greater than himself.

I read may posts on this forum and it saddens my heart, many compete to have the best knowledge of God.

Allah has many names / attributes far exceeding the 100 you have offered for you can never grasp that That is above us all.

The competition in this post is the root of wars,
yet some of you feed it.
It brings pain to your being though you see it not your souls do.
