Yes, the foundress of the Dominican Sisters of the Immaculate Conception were founded by Mother Maria Rose Kolumba shortly after she made her first religious vows at age 19.

Her inspiration lives on in the religious sisters today. She had a great devotion to the Eucharist and the Blessed Mother, and served people in all walks of life, from teaching in kindergartens to preparing the dying to enter the kingdom of Heaven. Wherever she worked, her goal was to preach the Gospel to those most in need.
While the order began in Poland, communities exist in eight different countries, including the U.S., Canada, Ukraine, and Siberia!

Read about the order’s foundress and the work which the order carries on today!
