A $40 Camcorder, good or not?

I just find this Pocket Video Camcorder is only $40…

The price is sooo attractive.

I wonder if it is a good one to try.

Well, let’s compare it to megapixels for digital cameras…640 x 480 = 307200 pixels.
1 megapixel = 1,000,000.
So 307200 pixels = 0.3 pixels.
it’s not even 1 MP!!

The quality will be minimal.

I repeat, you get what you pay for.

It is great for letting your pre-teens, and early teens play with to “have a video camera” but for stuff you want others to watch you should look at a few better products.

To whom are you speaking and telling to get one?

I would not waste my money on something this poor quality - not even for my teens. Save up and buy something decent. In fact, my 14 YO bought a very nice mini camcorder (digital) for about $300 that takes awesome video and still shots. I believe it was a JVC. He has not been disappointed.
