Has anyone read the book “A Biblical Defense of Catholicism”, by Dave Armstrong?

The author was a former Evangelical Protestant and was received into the chuch in 1991. He lays out very support of Catholicism through the bible and I found it to be very inspirational. I guess anything that makes us open the bible and read is inspiration. Anyway, I highly recommend this book to anyone who wishes to have a good supply of ammunition in theological debate about our faith. God Bless.

This was a very useful book for me during my joruney to the Church. At the time I was a Southern Baptist, so being able to find what the Church teaches in the Bible made the transition much easier. When he talked about the Church and authority, that really helped me to understand everything in a different light. I already knew the Bible really well, but when you’ve heard one interpretation your whole life, it kind of throws you when you see everything in a Biblical and historical context. This is definitely on my list of books to recommend for anyone who wants to know how to defend the faith Biblically or for a Protestant who wants to know where Catholic beliefes are found in the Bible.
