A Catholic Dad's Rules for Dating My Daughter

I love it! Thanks for posting the link. I would love to see the face of some young man if a man wore this Tshirt and said these are the rules for dating my daughter; can you adhere to these? And then turns around.

My rules would be no dating til 18. There’s no need for it. I don’t mean having a guy friend over for homework or that kind of thing. If a guy wanted to take my daughter to the movies I would say “What are we going to see?”. lol
 
I probably would want to avoid that…bad boys that irk fathers are virtually irresistible to teenage girls. If anything I would encourage her to go for jerks, that way her teenage rebellion will lead her into the geeks who value education, hard work, family and religion more than getting one’s kicks and sowing wild oats.

Not only that, but those four rules leave a lot of wiggle room.

I would need a much much bigger shirt.

Or to put it another way: If you scare off the good boys, you’ll be left with the boys who aren’t afraid of you.

And…after having posted before I looked at the link…:o…I like the shirt. 🙂
