So what are the alternatives to factory food production?
Trying to feed 3 people for a lifetime is one thing. Trying to feed 300 million for a lifetime is quite another thing. Not to mention the food we export to those who need it.
Whatever the alternatives, our food will cost more. Which does not help the poor at all.
GOOD STEWARDSHIP of our natural resources is a moral imperative in my view. But 300 plus million people need to be fed every day at a price they can afford.
