I have received a tearful call from my daughter, a military wife, this evening with the terrible news that a dear friend of her husband (another military man) has been notified that his 3-year-old son died following a fall today. Please pray for this grieving family and all those shocked and in sorrow. Thank you.

Such sadness. I lost my brother when he was just three and I still miss him. My prayers for this family.

A terrible fear that I did not wish to speak of last evening when I posted originally has come true. The mother’s boyfriend has been charged with murder. The child’s father (who has joint custody when his military duties permit, and just had his son for 8 months) is devistated.

Please pray for all the victims of this heinous assault on a child of God.
