I attended the Easter Sunrise service this morning (my first time). It was 37 degrees out, but we held it outside. My folks came with me, and said the folding chairs were really cold (I guess they could be called ‘Dead End’ kids  ) but as I was drafted to be an altar server I got to sit on a nice upholstered seat. Everybody was bundled up, and I noticed the priest was wearing a sweater under his vestments. And I thought I was living in Florida!.. http://i108.photobucket.com/albums/n31/dibbera/Smileys/th_ththGros_Smileys_16.gif

We had snow (just a dusting) both for the Easter Vigil and this morning. God must have a sense of humor.

I must say the lighting of the Paschal Candle outdoors was done very quickly so we could all get back indoors.
