A Christianity Without Beliefs?

As strange as it may seem, I suspect that the author’s mentality isn’t terrible uncommon. While a non-believer may not attribute any spiritual significance to the rites and rituals of Christianity, they can’t deny the profound psychological impact it has on at least some people. When the West decided to abandon their roots, they failed to find a replacement rituals. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a fair amount of cultural Christians (arguably something we already see) or non-Christians rituals lifted from Christian tradition.
