I am a member of the Servants of the Sacred Cross, and our Mother Superior sent this link to all of us. It is right to the point(s) and also very beautiful. I highly recommend it to anyone (like myself) who will be entering the contemplative life soon. Enjoy! 🙂

YOU had a wonderful story about how you persevered while on your journey to the SSC (financial sacrifice, etc). I wish you the best! I think your story was inspirational and should give anyone hope that if you are called you can get where you are supposed to be going. 👍

PS That link above to the blog is very good. The thoughts should be helpful to anyone discerning.

This is great but it is not “essential” for anyone interested in religious life as the Cistercian style of religious life is not what all religious life is.

Those who are interested in a cloistered monastic life could gain from this though.
