I don’t know some forms of Pentecostalism are overwhelming shall we say? I would be wary about taking my children there because I don’t want them to get scared

The columnist gives a wise answer to this question. The mother must take a strict line with non-Catholic relatives that they absolutely may not undermine her children’s religious formation.
 
As a former Pentecostal…no way!!..your mom is out to save their souls from the clutches of the “whore of Babylon” ( Catholic church)…she’s probably doing it because that’s what she’s been taught to believe…it does seem suspicious that she needs to take them to her church to spend time with them…surely there must be other times she could do that…better still…tell her that her grand kids would love for her to come to church with you and your kids

Why confuse your children at such a young age? They are very impressionable. I am afraid Grandma has hopes of converting them out from under their Catholic Faith . I wouldn’t even go with them to her service. Ask her to go with you and the Children to Mass and see what she says. Prayers, God Bless, Memaw
