Something recently happened with a sibling, and I’m confused.

When she was young, my sister believed in God. She prayed, went to mass when the whole family did, and was generally a happy person . As she got older, she would say that she was Catholic, but not have the desire to go to church, and I didn’t pay too much attention to it cause I thought she was just being kind of lazy. She also got more negative. Recently she told my parents (and later me) that she “does not believe, but does not disbelieve” that God exists. Then about two weeks later she told my mom about therianthropy (you can look it up), and that she believes she could be part animal.I’m baffled that she could believe something like that. And when we (meaning, me and my parents) try to give her information about the church, she seems to listen at first, and then kind of disregard it later.

I guess I just want to know if there is something else I can do (besides lots of prayer, of course) to help her see that the Catholic church teaches the truth, I’m worried about her.

You cannot decide for her. It is not bad to adventure for new paths.
Sometimes you need to bang your head in several walls to find your way. You know, one learns better the hard way.

I am sorry that I don’t have any real advice for you- though I do know that you can only control yourself- not someone else…and be a friend to them through it.

But this advice, this made my day. It is the perfect way to express the sentiment. Love it!
