A couple of sweet miracles/blessings? today!

I posted the longer story over on the Evangelization board here, but I wanted to share a couple of miracles with y’all; or you might call them blessings or signs. I forgot to include the 2nd one.
  1. I prayed and asked God to show me how He wanted me to spread His love today. Just a few minutes later, I parked the car, and a homeless man was standing there asking me for food. (And I wasn’t in a ‘homeless’ area, as far as I know. No one was around the other 2 times I’ve been in that neighborhood or church).
  2. I bought a Holy Water bottle yesterday to fill at the Church from their Holy Water font that I noticed last week. After Mass, an elderly couple took their jar to the back while I was finishing my prayers, and they filled their jar half full, and then another lady was helping them, and it was out of water (all 3 of them said it was empty; it’s a large silver like drink dispenser, and they even tilted it to get the last of the water.) I was disappointed but not angry. I can get it another time, although this was my first time to try to take some home. For some reason, while waiting for Confession nearby, I thought I’d go try and see if any was left. I don’t know why I would do that when my ‘mind’ said it was empty.
You know it. I was able to fill my bottle COMPLETELY! I had faith that if I was meant to have it today, I would have it, and if not, I’d be fine until later.

Thank you Lord for so many blessings. I share this with all of you, my friends, to show that ask, and we shall receive. I’m a sinner just as much or more, and totally don’t deserve this, but God loves us. With all the bad news in our world, we need to be sure to share our good news with others, here and every day.

Oh wow fantastic story again Christina! It’s like the multiplication of the loaves and the wine at the wedding at Cana. I have several holy water bottles at home. I use them very often (I have to) and the bottle I’m currently using is already half full. Thanks for sharing; I really needed to read this especially with what’s happening lately. 🙂
