The Old Testament is also full of prophesies about Christ, from beginning to end. He fulfilled them all.

I was in two bible studies, and have read some of the Gospels, just not from beginning to end.

Now I am reminding you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you indeed received and in which you also stand. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at once, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. After that he appeared to James, then to all the apostles. Last of all, as to one born abnormally, he appeared to me. 1 Corinthians, 15:1-8

Then of course are we Christians whom Christ has revealed himself in various ways.

This is what faith is.

Faith goes beyond belief and is given to us as a gift.

I know He appeared to 500 at once, what Im asking, and apparently not well, is IF the body was stolen, would there have been all His appearances? Or because of all the appearances, we know He wasnt stolen?

If his body was stolen instead of risen, obviously not.

Faith, this “stolen” thing has you in a computer loop. You keep going around and around. You’re asking a question here that’s the equivalent of asking–“If I saw Hazel in the supermarket on Tuesday, that means she didn’t die 5 years ago?”.

You’ve been given a lot of facts here about what Christians believe to be true and some good reasons for it. Read the gospels, read the Catechism, find good books on the subject, make an informed jugement, and don’t let what “some people say” effect it–and pray for guidance… ,

I just started watching this last night. My parents were not into it (too much into PBS for their own good) and I have to purposely set a reminder to watch TV because I don’t really watch it at all anymore. Plus, when I did turn it on last night, my rabbit ears couldn’t pick up the slightest peep of the station and I decided to watch it from the beginning on nbc.com. What a blessing that decision was!

I watched the first episode, and very impressed and entertained, resolved to watch the second episode right away before retiring to bed. Instead, I let it run by itself and discovered that there is a live “recap” show called “Beyond A.D.” with interviews and hype and chat. Normally I don’t like this kind of thing but it was really well done! I kept pinching myself and asking, “is this really NBC?” Roma Downey and Mark Burnett were featured, along with NFL player Kurt Warner and musical guest Israel Houghton. They unabashedly shared their spiritual impressions of the show and made no bones about being religious and Christian. The live audience gave it an energetic feel and the show ended with a preview of the second episode.

That is all I watched last night, I plan to catch up on episodes as soon as I have the time. Sometimes when I watch videos I don’t really pay attention. I decided to make this full screen and put away the web fiddling that I usually do while the show is in the background. I did pull out my tablet and play some Freecell but the intensity of the episode really made me sit up and take notice most of the time. I think once this is over I will be compelled to find “The Bible” and “Son of God” on Blu-ray or DVD and watch them through, because I never did make the time to watch them.
