What do you think of this debate. I found it amusing
carm.org/apologetics/apologetics-dialogues/proof-i-want-proof

I want to know what evidence there is exactly for the fulfillments of prophesy in the bible.
Can i reason that they must apply to Jesus, or are they vague sayings that we must believe by faith? In other words, can we use the bible, in so far as the fulfillment of prophesy is concerned, as a proof for God? If we can, i think its important that i know about it.

Give me what you got. 🙂

Mind - to be utterly fair, shouldn’t someone invite a Rabbi on this one?

Denominational differences in Christianity aside - pair up interpretation of prophecy across religious lines and your definitely going to end up with 2 different readings.

What one ascribes to the coming of a Messiah another may ascribe simply as a descriptor of David or Solomon.

I didn’t read your link…but…According to Scripture, which was validated by the Man whom witnesses saw die and rise again, and lived on through His apostles and their successors, the gift of interpretation belongs to the Church. You can reason prophecies apply to Jesus by understanding this gift within the Church, and hearing what She has to say about the prophecies of Scripture.
