I don’t believe I stated that “nations” refers to Jews, other than the one interpetation that views it as referring to Torah scholars scattered throughout the nations. This is different than saying it refers to the people of Israel.Are there any other examples where prophets identified Jews as The Nations? As far as I know that’s only a term for Gentiles.

It seemed Jews were cursed with loss of Temple about forty years after Jesus was supposed to have been persecuted by fellow Jews, after John the Baptist was supposed to be acting as Elijah. Perhaps they will be cursed with indifference and a lack of appreciation for all that the Torah offers. But since so many Jews today say they don’t have to observe Torah anymore or even believe in God, do you think they will face more curses according to this? What will the curse be?
Malachi 3:22-24 Remember ye the law of Moses My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible day of the LORD. And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers; lest I come and smite the land with utter destruction.
Since Malachi’s warning is for the land to be destroyed, don’t you think the State of Israel may face destruction if a majority of Jews don’t start trying to observe Torah more and at least believe in God, and insist that others who say they are Jews do the same?Perhaps they will be cursed with indifference and a lack of appreciation for all that the Torah offers.
