A Delta passenger who jumped out of a moving plane with a dog was allegedly about to lose control

I think this may be the third incident of someone messing around on a plane in the past two months. A few months ago someone decided to go out on a wing to cool off. A few weeks ago someone jumped a fence at Vegas and climbed into a wing and refused to come off. And now, a man decides to leave the plane on the emergency exit as it is heading to the runway.

When ever one of those doors is opened, the plane has to be taken out of use and be serviced before it can be used again. To pull the emergency release on the handle there is a cover that comes off that does not simply go back into place. Of course the inflatable slide has to be replaced. And it has to be ensured that the plane has a good seal on the door after it is closed.
