A disturbing endtimes sign

Hey guys I read the wallstreet journal and the bible every day and ran across something quite disturbing when reading revelations. I don’t want to sound like those typical end times predictors but I have been thinking of something happening today.

It really is based on 4 things:
1.The harlot woman on a bull
2.The Antichrist bringing everyone together
3.The tower of babel
and 4. a kingdom coming to power that was once in power.

I was looking at the European Union.
  1. Their official symbol is a Harlot woman on a bull
  2. Look at what is happening in Europe right now and all the nations are coming together to fight against ISIS. Perhaps in a few years they will all unite under the EU in the name of combating ISIS and start to create a new world order as it says in the bible.
  3. I read that the construction of their new EU parliament building has a great deal of similarities to the tower of babel
  4. I also read somewhere that they are talking of the EU will be called the new Roman Empire coming to power again.
I was hoping someone more familiar with this can tell me if these are valid observations and quite frankly I would love to be told I am crazy and this is not happening. However I also said that one of the major signs of the end times would be the Cubs winning the world series. It was close but thank God that didn’t happen perhaps we will have some more time on earth after all.

My friend, and I mean this as nicely as possible, you are crazy. The official symbol of the EU is most assuredly not a harlot (in other words a prostitute), riding a bull or otherwise. Where did you get the idea that this was the official symbol?

In fact I heard tell a while ago that the actual symbol of the EU - a circle of stars on a blue background - was inspired by an image of Our Lady which has a starry crown. Which is about as completely the opposite of what you said as it’s possible to be.

That’s something else I’ve never seen with my own eyes—the tower of Babel. What exactly did it look like?
 
I think he is referring to Europa riding the bull, which is on some European coinage and is planned to be put on some of their paper currency.

Is kind of an odd coincidence.

The tower of Babel thing I only know what I had been told bu a friend of mine were talking and he said that he read a historical description of the construction and he said it sounded similar. Here is a picture I found online

no offense taken Revelations is a crazy subject and I am just throwing a crazzy thought I had. and Offical symbol is the wrong word I know what their flag looks like. But the harlot woman on a beast is on their coinage and flyers and there are statues of a harlot woman on a bull related to the EU.

however I would ask you to look at these pictures to understand where I am coming from

Revelation refers to a harlot on a Beast, having seven heads and ten horns.

I have yet to see a critter such at that on European symbolism.
 
As no-one knows what the Tower of Babel looked like (it was likely a pyramid or ziggurat), the EC could hardly replicate it.

Everyone that interprets revelations will say say the heads and the horns will represent something like the members kingdoms churches or leaders or something else and the animal will just be a regulate bull

Exactly.

Revelation does not mention a bull (a beast can be a lion, a dragon, a horse, or, yes, a bull). But it says nothing about a bull. Therefore, whoever tries to “interpret” this to refer to the EU has to pull the bull from thin air, such as this example you just cited. People have tried to say the harlot is the Catholic Church (they’re wrong). Those who try to make it the EU or the United States, or Canada or Antarctica are likely wrong too.

You can make anything say or mean anything. I can “prove” that Ghana is the seat of the Antichrist with the phone book if I put enough wasted time and energy into it.

That’s why I say don’t worry about it.

Some of the things mentioned may be a bit speculative, but you raise valid points. I have been dealing with these things since 1994. I don’t have all the answers, but can I submit these points. These may get you on a path of research… I may have more, if wanted.
  1. The absolute most relevant scriptures for present/ near future, are Daniel 7 and Revel13
    See what you can glean from these. (get a concordance and study supporting scriptures)
  2. ‘Google’ Universal Product Code. You may be amazed that you are using ‘666’, now.
    (the ‘number’) 3. The 'Mark" What geometric symbol, is in common use by government/
    business/ others? See US$1. Used by secretive powerful religion. (… membership of by Catholics, long banned by popes). Cyril
 
The woman on the bull is the symbol for Europe. Europa was abducted by Zeus who disguised himself as a bull in Greek mythology.

However I did find this:

it will come like a thief in the night. Protestants have been gleaning this from Revelations since the REFORMATION. if this is such a big deal why isn’t John 6? I don’t believe The Catholic church says anything in reguards to what Revelations does say, yet Protestant Ministers make billions off of espousing their wisdom.
I side with Scott Hahn, its about the Holy Mass. Spend your time reading the Gospels.

Hi AF , The Book of Revelations is part of the Canon of the Bible. I think it was Saint Augustine who insisted it was so. It carries a blessing for those who read it , and
a warning not to add to , or take away from its content. Its a difficult book to
fully understand , its mysterious in its meanings , but before reading we can
ask the Holy Spirit to guide our understanding , so we will ’ hear what God is saying’
