Are YOU up to a Faith Challenge?🙂

I hope this will be a Faith belief; not a bible translation discussion

Dear friends in Christ,
I just began reading a truly wonderful and informative book: “THIS IS THE FAITH… a complete explanation of the Catholic Faith” by Canon Francis Ripley [3td edition]

And it raised a question that has long been on my mind. So I am going to post here a few bible passages all with a common theme, and end with a question on YOUR Faith beliefs

**John.10: 1 to 5 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter the sheepfold by the door but climbs in by another way, that man is a thief and a robber; but he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the gatekeeper opens; the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. A stranger they will not follow, but they will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.” [7] So Jesus again said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. [9] **I am the door; if any one enters by me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. [10] The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly. **[16] **And I have other sheep, that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will heed my voice. So there shall be one flock, one shepherd”

John.18: 37 “Pilate said to him, “So you are a king?” Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. For this I was born, and for this I have come into the world, to bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears my voice”

Luke.10: 16 “He who hears you hears me, and he who rejects you rejects me, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”

**Matt.7: 21 -23 **"Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, `I never knew you; depart from me, you evildoers.

Matt.7: 24 to 27 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell; and great was the fall of it.”

The Author of the above referenced book makes this BOLD statement:
“The RCC is one in its teaching, practice, and its government. One in its people and one in its head. …. Only the RCC makes sense when viewed from each of these perspectives.” Page XVI

So here dear friends is the Faith CHALLENGE …
.
HOW does your church, your faith beliefs respond to SUM of these teachings?
God Bless you,

Patrick
