A few prayer intentions

I have a few things which I’d like you guys to please keep in mind during your prayers.
  1. For the repose of the soul of Jon. He was the boyfriend of my ex-girlfriend (from years ago) and he killed himself on Saturday night. Also keep in mind all those considering suicide, that they may see the value in their own lives rather than end them.
  2. For Christian unity, especially between the Catholic Church and Easter/Oriental Orthodox Churches. I think reunion is an achievable goal… hopefully within my lifetime.
  3. For the restoration of my relationship. I broke up with my most recent girlfriend in April and haven’t been the same since. It took me 5 months to realize the mistake I made, and when I apologized she revealed she was talking to a friend of mine. Now they are together, yet she is very unhappy with her current relationship. I’m certain she still has feelings for me. Despite being discontent with things, she does not want to hurt her boyfriend, so nothing is changing. Not only is it a problem for her, but her boyfriend (as I said, a friend of mine) is a good person. I would feel awful if I was the reason for their break up. May God give us the patience and clarity of mind to discern the right path in this situation.
  4. For the uncompromising faith of those Christians persecuted in the Middle East.
  5. For all those in need of prayers.
