A Few Prayer Requests

It has been so long since I have been on CAF that I consider it quite sad. But, hoping to make another comeback, so I thought it would be best to ask for prayers.
  1. For my fiance, JR who is going to be graduating from the United States Navy Basic Training. Pray for not only his career, but for us as go through getting married. (Hopefully sooner than later)
  2. For Religious Freedom in the United States and around the world.
  3. For my great-grandmother as she is dealing with a lot of pain in her hip.
  4. To pray for me as I try to deal with some friendship problems, for I do not want to lose a friendship, but I do not want to lie to myself either.
  5. For all the Dominican Student Brothers at my home parish who are helping over the summer that they absorb things they need to understand to further in their studies or in their vocation.
  6. Finally, for the Saint Patrick’s 20s Group (Columbus, Ohio) a 20-something adult group I am a part of and we are still trying to get our feet wet.

For the intentions of NikitaRhea: Our Father in heaven, holy be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. AMEN.

Dear Lord,

We humbly and faithfully lift up your daughter, Nikita’s, intentions to you. We ask that you bless her fiance, JR, that he may have strength and success in his career. We also pray that you would bring he and Nikita together soon, if your will it, as husband and wife!

We pray for religious freedom in this country. That the faithful would be protected from the overreaches of state, especially as it pertains to matters of the sanctity of life. We pray for the defeat of the HHS edict on contraception and abortion-inducing drugs.

We pray for Nikita’s great grandmother, that you would bring her healing and relief from the pain in her hip, and bless her in all her remaining days. May she draw closer to you with each passing day!

We ask that you illuminate Nikita’s mind and bring her discernment in her friendships.

We pray for the Dominican Student Brothers at her home parish, that your grace and friendship would come upon them, that their minds would be enlightened and their hearts set on fire in the pursuit of your will for their lives. May you protect them from sin and corruption.

We pray for the Saint Patrick 20’s Group, that their organization would strengthen and have success drawing upon your wisdom in their development. May their mission and activities always be pleasing in your eyes.

We pray these things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, our loving Savior, who lives and reigns forever and ever!! Amen.
