Father, we ask you to hold
Adonia up and keep her strong
in her faith. Guide her to follow
you and to not be swayed by any
outside source.
Send the Holy Spirit to guide her
give her strength, peace, and comfort.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus.
AMEN

Thanks.I’ll just replace the “Her” to “Him” to make it right. A beautiful prayer! I feel better already!

Yes, Forum names can be confuse as to gender and profiles often don’t clear up the question!

May God help you to Live His dream of you, and may your faith grow.
For you and for all of us I pray …

God, help me to have faith in You despite the multiplicity of human suffering. Give me trust in You when I implore Your mercy for someone’s painful need, yet there seems no response. Heal my anxiety for loved ones, regarding their stresses, uncertainties of income, disappointments, and regarding health and relationship issues. Please protect, and lead them all into heaven. Thank You for the ways that You care for them.

Heal my concern whether I ‘disappoint’ You before the urgent need of prayer for family, priests, others’ souls, Church, and world. Scripture names Moses as “the humblest man on earth”, yet he successfully importuned You to change outcomes for his people despite their sin. So might not someone as negligible as me, bargain for something of Your requisite mercy and healing for Church, world and family…

“Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart.” (Galatians 6:9) 1999
Although we have may difficulty in seeing divine action within ourselves, we have a God whose “strength does not lie in numbers, nor Your might in violent men, since You are God of the humble, the help of the oppressed, the support of the weak, the refuge of the forsaken, the saviour of the despairing.” [Judith 9:14-16]
