Thanks dearly for the insightful responses and discussion guys!

I see there are some grey areas between people over this. I can’t help but to add one small detail about the Adam and Eve story; our Lady of Medjugorje (not approved officially by the Church yet, but still condoned by many religious people and priests) seems to imply that original sin of Adam and Eve was in fact sex and lust between them. Or perhaps this is even something that happened after the fall, but I find it an intriguing interpretation. It kind of goes with the story almost just as well; the fact that they wanted to cover themselves up infront of eachother and the Lord could have been an urge they felt necessary after having sex with eachother (thus they realized their shame and ‘exclusivity’ of their parts).

Then again, Adam and Eve were made for eachother and told to multiply, so I don’t see how that can fit in

Lust is a disorder of the sexual urge. Such disorders are a consequence of the Fall, not the cause of it.
