Brothers and sisters, I have several requests for you.

First, a family friend may have cancer of the liver due to advances hepatitis c. She may die without a transplant…please pray for her recovery and/or comfort.

Secondly, I am fighting a horrific sexual addiction that’s has landed me both in court and in therapy. I cannot stress enough what a vice is this addiction. Though I desperately want to please God, I lack the self control to stop. I am deeply worried for my salvation. Please pray! I spend much time in mortal sin…I am usually only able to receive Communion about once a month because of this. I hate my sin…but I keep falling over and over…As mentioned above this addiction had led to deviency in my past and I now face my past actions in court…please pray for the people I have hurt and that the Lord let the system treat me mercifully as well!

Finally, my mother “married” a protestant before without the Church approving it…she now lives in a state of mortal sin according to the Church…she has raised my younger sisters to believe things like birth control are acceptable. She also believes the methodists “communion” is transubstatiated and is she thus recives Our Lord’s Body and Blood.

Please please pray all of you… this is merely some of it. My life is out of control!

Come Holy Spirit with all Your power and healing into the life and spirit of our brother. Bring Your gifts of healing, and of grace…both to him and his family.

In the name of Jesus, Father, I ask protection upon all concerned. I praise and honour and thank You for Your salvation through Your Son. I praise and thank You for Jesus, and for the Holy Spirit. I thank You for Your love for us, for Your love for this man, his mother, his sisters.

Father in Your son’s name, bind the evil that oppresses this person, bind it that Jesus may banish it.

Holy Spirit, filf the heart and mind and spirit of our brother with purity, goodness, truth, love and service of others. Fill the family with wisdom and truth.

Thank You for Your love and salvation of us our God. I praise and thank You for Your loving kindness and mercy. I praise You for Your goodness and love.

Father, I ask Your blessing and care for the friend with life threatening illness. Draw this person to You; and if You will, please grant the needed transplant. I ask, in Jesus’ name.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions

Christ, through whom his Father’s glory shines, enlightens us by his word. With love we pray to him:
  • King of eternal glory, hear us.
Blessed are you – our faith comes from you and leads us to you as its fulfilment:
you have called us out of the shadows into your wonderful light.
You opened the eyes of the blind and made the deaf hear:
help us when we do not believe.
Lord, may we remain always in your love:
let us never be separated.
Make us resist temptation, and when troubles come, give us endurance:
but when things go well for us, may we remember to give you thanks.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those that trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Lord, remember the new covenant, which has been sealed with the blood of the Lamb.
May your people receive forgiveness for their sins
and move ever forward towards redemption.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

Your intentions will be in my prayers.***

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

Lord our God, please look with kindness and mercy upon Your servant, for whom I pray tonight. He is desperate for his dear friend to receive a transplant for her liver; please help the medical staff caring for her to reveal Your saving power. Grant her peace and salvation; if it is in accordance with Your will, I plead that a suitable donor will be found to save her life.

For his sexual addiction, and for all who suffer from any sort of sexual addiction or deviance, may Your Son send the Holy Spirit into their hearts and give them strength to overcome their addictions. In particular, I pray that You will give those hurt by deviance in this situation to show forgiveness to their brother in Christ, not that they should forget what he has done, but that Your servant’s past faults and sins will be left to Your mercy. Please give him deliverance from temptation and sexual sin.

Finally, for his mother, she has not done what is pleasing in Your sight, Lord. I pray that You will invade her privacy and grant her the wisdom to turn away from her sins and return to You with her whole heart. Do not let her remain in her obstinacy, but bring her back to a more full practicing of her Catholic faith.

Mary, Mother of the Church, Our Lady of the Assumption, please perfect this prayer as only you know how. Take this prayer and the prayer requests for Layp3rs0n by other prayer warriors, and bring them all before the throne of Your Son, Jesus, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns eternally with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Amen. :gopray:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Prayers through the intercession of our Blessed Mother coming your way
