Please pray for my friend Jamie.

Jamie is struggling with poverty and illness, and has to fight hard to keep going.

He’s a devout believer, and struggles to hold onto his faith in God.

And he depends on himself to interpret the Scriptures, which I have just now discovered is leading him into some very strange paths.

I believe a large part of the problem is that he suffers from illness, most likely OCD, and will not take meds. I can’t suggest he do so because he’ll think I’m asking him to deny his religious faith.

I beg: please intercede for Jamie.
 
Lord Jesus, please have mercy on Your friend who is in need. Amen. 🙂
 
Gracious and merciful Father, please come to his assistance.

Praying hard for Jamie and all suffering from OCD and scrupulocity.
 
Most merciful Redeemer, please grant in Your infinite love that Jamie may come to the knowledge of the Truth in the Catholic Faith, no longer trusting himself to interpret Your Holy Word, but trusting entirely in Your infallible Church. May he be healed of his psychological illness, in accordance with Your perfect will, and may his economic status rise with the assistance of charitable hearts.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

seek professional Psychiatric help
for his mental frame of mind and
may he be delivered from poverty,

Prayer of St. Dymphna

Lord, our God, you graciously chose St. Dymphna as patroness of those afflicted with mental, emotional, and nervous disorders. She is thus an inspiration and a symbol of charity to the thousands who ask her intercession.

Please grant, Lord, through the prayers of this pure youthful martyr, relief and consolation to all suffering such trials, and especially for Jamie.

We beg you, Lord, to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna on Jamie’s behalf. Grant all those for whom we pray patience in their sufferings and resignation to your divine will. Please fill them with hope, and grant them the relief and cure they so desire.

We ask this through Christ our Lord, who suffered agony in the garden. Amen.

Good news. 🙂

Jamie is on his way to a place where I believe he’ll get real help. He’s already been blessed in that he has had comfort and met new friends who helped him. Now he’s going to visit some people who I believe have had much success in the Deliverance ministry.

Please pray for him so that all may go well. 🙂 I have hope for him now, that he will have deliverance.
 
Update: Jamie is being healed and experiencing the joy of the Lord. :harp:

His struggles are not over, not by a long way yet; but he’s happy now, and under the Mercy. :angel1:
