Of course, everyone is free to disagree.
Perhaps people tend to equate ‘equality’ with the modern equivalent of ‘equal to’ in all forms. That’s not quite my intentioned point. Same as I could say I don’t agree with gender equality as its currently portrayed, rather equivalence in respect and value.
There isn’t a lot of middle ground for a lot of people I find. They place themseves in a servitude or they push the boundaries over the top of their peers in a push for dominance.
By being in Gods image we have the potential to develop capability beyond other creation. Leading us to an equivalence in terms of interactive friendship. That born of our grasp of existence and knowledge of God, not because we are following some ludicrous idea of becoming Gods ourselves as with Mormonism.
