A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Confessional...

I went to Confession today (I go once a month) and as I was closing the door, thinking Father was in the room, he comes up to the door. I had closed the door and then twisted the knob the wrong way. Got the door open and Father goes, pointing to himself, “You need one of these!” We both had a good chuckle.:rotfl:

Just thought I’d share. We need a good laugh once in a while.

don’t ya love a priest with a good sense of humor? 🙂
 
You might be surprised to know how many times a priest hears one penitent leave, the door closes again and he says “In the Name of the Father…” only to hear silence.

In that case, there’s not even anyone to say “Father, YOU need one of these”
