- I am a Taiwanese catechumen living in Taiwan, who has signed up and is regularly going to a catechesis course.
- The Gospel of Sunday 05/05/2019 is the Gospel of John 21:1-19, in which both Jesus and Peter said “love” three times.
- I know in original Greek, Jesus in the first two times said “agape” and in the third time said “phileo”, Peter in all three times said “phileo”.
- In the same part of the Chinese Catholic Bible, “agape” and “phileo” are also translated into the same word “愛”. The Chinese Catholic Bible does not contain explanations of meanings of “愛” here.
- Could someone please recommend a good edition of Catholic (study) Bible that contains explanations of meanings of “love” here?
