I’m reading a novel called Christmas Every Morning by Lisa Tawn Bergen. Krista is the main character who’s finding out more about her mother through a journal she wrote in many years ago. Dan is the director of the care center where her mother Charlotte lives and he cares a lot about her mother who has alzheimers. Dan and Krista grew up together and now her mother is bringing them together. Dan is encouraging Krista to forgive her mother. Krista is finally begining to see that forgiveness will help her to move on with her life even if her and mother don’t have a healthy relationship. As a child she she never grew close to her mother because her mother prefered it that way.
This book has nothing that would’nt be approiate for me to read. It is considered a Christian book that speaks on what Krista is going through and how she is moving on with her life. I would like a book that gives a good example of someone living life as a good Catholic.
I went to the website bethlehem books and these books are for children. These books are historic and are wrote for Catholic children many of them about kings and some biblical characters. There are many good life lessons in these books but I need something thats age approiate. I’m in my late 20’s.
What do you recommend?
