I didn’t get that impression at all about the racial diversity…I think it sends a powerful image. Thanks for the link.
 
Oh my gosh–I loved this video! I cried. :o That is what Christ is going through to win our hearts back to Him, when we are caught up in sin? Powerful imagery…and perfect to show a teenager in particular. I love how the crowd was cheering when Jesus fought off the ‘sin’ that was trying to overtake the girl.:o

I didnt notice. But I bet someone of African American descent would see this. Its just by chance that White people play the humans and God and other races play different parts.

As I watched the video, I too thought about how in our politically correct world this would come across.

I know it was unintended but I think it steps on the message.It unwittingly plays into the stereotype that many minorities hold of evangelical Christians
 
I thought it was beautiful! It was such a powerful image of Christ’s love for us. 👍
 
Oh I thought it was beautiful. I cried. Our youth group did something similar but not as powerful. Simply awesome.

I guess I was so wrapped up in the message that I didn’t notice the color of youth’s skin. My husband and I get our fair share of racial or rather ethnic remarks because I am Mexican-American and he is Polish-American and our friends… geez with our friends we could make up a Catholic UN. I will be sharing this with our Youth Group and as many people as possible.
