At Mass this morning during the homily, our priest told us about a beautiful tradition in the Greek Orthodox Church. They greet each other on Easter Sunday with (interpretation) “Allelujia, Christ has Risen!” The response being “Indeed He has Risen!” Today, in fact they celebrate Easter with the rest of us as their calendar falls in line with ours this year. So I greet you all with “ALLELUJIA CHRIST HAS RISEN!”
