Please join me in praying for my friend Phillip, who recently lost his grandmother. He’s having a tough time.

Heavenly Father, lend Your healing strength and comfort to Philip and the rest of his family as they bid goodbye to his grandmother. May her soul be at rest in Your arms. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Jesus, You wept when your friend died. Phillip’s grandmother was very dear to him and he finds it painful to have lost her presence in his life. Please comfort him.

Father, please send down your
Holy Spirit upon Phillip. Grant
him strength, comfort, and peace.
Help him to overcome this terrible loss.
I ask this in Jesus name.
AMEN

I pray for your grieving friend and may his angel be at his side. May peace envelope him and the love of Christ shine forth to give him comfort. Amen

For your intentions…

Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

praying for comfort to your friend. May God heal him with the wonderful memories and may God lessen his tears of sorrow.

Dear God -
Selfishly, I understand this need all too well, as I have been grieving for two parents lost six months apart. We do not know where You send souls - what Your Divine Justice has ordained for their eternity - but we pray, first, that these souls - particularly, Philip’s grandmother - be either in Heaven or on their way to You.

And for Philip and all those like him, dear God, help him through this difficult loss. (Me included, crying as I try to offer this prayer for another - still weeping for my own grief.)

Help your son, Phillip, dear God - please ease his heart.
I ask this by Thy Divine Grace and Mercy, through Our Lady’s intercession and in the name of Thy Divine Son, Jesus. Amen.
