A Prayer for Healing Cancer

Heavenly Father, I come before you with a solemn heart and in need of your intercession. I pray that the cancer that has come into my life soon fades into a quick remission.

I believe in your capacity for miracles, and ask for this on my behalf. As we grow older, I know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. I ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. In your name I pray,

B.B.'s PET scan was the morning of the 27th, and she appears to have tolerated it well. Please pray that the scan shows the cancer that was just diagnosed has not spread. She has the Doctor’s appointment on Wed., Jan. 4, 2017, for the results, etc.

Please pray:
the cancer is “very easy to treat” → The Doctor said it is.
the cancer has not spread
for BB’s healing from the cancer
for her healing from the long-time illness she has → Her PCP said it is “in remission”.
for her Dad who appears to have take n it pretty well telling her “we will fight this!” and giving her support
for her 13-year-old son -
for her medical doctors and caregivers, that Our Heavenly Father may give them knowledge, wisdom, discernment, and everything they may need to help B.B.
for God to touch this family and for them to see “how great is our God” and get even closer to Him
for any other blessing He has in store for this family for the asking and we have not asked Him for it:):D.

Of course it goes without saying that Our Lord knows what to grant first! :hmmm: After all, He does know better!

We thank God that B.B. does not have to deal with both the long-time illness and the cancer!

A Prayer for Healing Cancer**

Heavenly Father, I come before you with a solemn heart and in need of your intercession. I pray that the cancer that has come into my life soon fades into a quick remission.

I believe in your capacity for miracles, and ask for this on my behalf. As we grow older, I know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. I ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. In your name I pray,

Today is Holy Innocents’ Day! A day many Spanish-speakers play tricks on people – just like on April 1 in the USA. I tried doing a trick to BB today. We had ordered pizza which was to be delivered in 30 to 45 minutes. After a little while I called her out, “Pizza is here!” and as she stepped out, the delivery was driving up! I took a fit of laughter and told her what had just happened! We both had a good laugh because the “laugh” was on me!

B.B.'s PET scan was yesterday (12/27) morning and she appears to have tolerated it well. Please pray that the scan shows the cancer that was just diagnosed has not spread. She has the Doctor’s appointment on Wed., Jan. 4, 2017, for the results, etc.

Please pray:
the cancer is “very easy to treat” → The Doctor said it is.
the cancer has not spread
for BB’s healing from the cancer
for her healing from the long-time illness she has → Her PCP said it is “in remission”.
for her Dad who appears to have take n it pretty well telling her “we will fight this!” and giving her support
for her 13-year-old son - she plans to let him know on the 4th after . . .
for her medical doctors and caregivers, that Our Heavenly Father may give them knowledge, wisdom, discernment, and everything they may need to help B.B.
for God to touch this family and for them to see “how great is our God” and get even closer to Him
for any other blessing He has in store for this family for the asking and we have not asked Him for it:):D.

Of course it goes without saying that Our Lord knows what to grant first! :hmmm: After all, He does know better!

We thank God that B.B. does not have to deal with both the long-time illness and the cancer!

First I do want to let you know that B.B. is very thankful for all the prayers.

B.B.'s Doctor’s appointment was this afternoon. The prayers that the scan shows the cancer that was just diagnosed has not spread have been answered! :extrahappy: It has not!:extrahappy: We thank Our Lord for that!! He is worthy!:highprayer:
