A Healing for B.B. - Please Pray for

Thank you for all your prayers for B.B. She continues fighting the cancer.

My praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet today will be for your intentions.

• Prayer for B.B.'s health,
• her Medical caregivers that Our Lord may grant each wisdom and discernment for dealing with the blood work results and treat her, and
• in thanksgiving to Our Heavenly Father for all the gifts and graces He has showered upon this Family – because He is worthy of our thanks!

Prayer for B.B.'s Health

Lord, Master of all creation
Through Whose Word the whole cosmos was created out of nothing. Not “made”.
Lord, we cannot even fathom nothing or nothingness.
You Who gave all the order and balance in the created world we can see and
…so tiny we cannot see;
You Who are so powerful, mighty, and knowing
You Who from the time of Abraham and Moises have done so many wondrous deeds
Look with favor upon Your daughter B.B. and have compassion on her.
Please give her the strength to go through the radiation and chemo therapies.
Please let these treatments eradicate the cancer that has attacked her.
Let her feel and see Your immense love for her and her family
and draw her closer to Yourself;
heal her from her long-time illness so that she would attest to Your
…goodness and greatness.
Please grant her Dad all the graces he needs or may need to help his daughter.
Please Lord, turn all these trials into blessings for this family, Your children.
For all this we pray if for the most glory of God and the salvation of their
…souls so that they may be with You for all eternity.

Prayer for Medical Doctors
O merciful Father,
Who have wonderfully fashioned man in Your own image,
and have made his body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit,
sanctify, we pray You, our doctors and nurses and all those whom you have called to
…study and practice the arts of healing the sick and the prevention of disease and pain.
Strengthen them in body and soul,
and bless their work,
that they may give comfort to those for whose salvation Your Son became Man,
lived on this earth, healed the sick,
and suffered and died on the Cross.
Amen.

Apology and Thanksgiving Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Creator of all and source of all goodness and love,
please look kindly upon us,
as we ask for forgiveness for not giving You thanks.
Please receive our heartfelt apology for the lack of gratitude.
Remind us at all times that You are always worthy of our thanks.

for all the graces and blessings
You have bestowed upon us:
our faith and religious heritage;
the Priests who bring us the Sacraments;
our life, food and shelter;
our health, the love we have for one another;

the cancer is “very easy to treat” → The Doctor said it is.
the cancer has not spread → It has not spread.
for BB’s healing from the cancer
for her healing from the long-time illness she has → Her PCP said it is "in remission".
for her Dad who appears to have taken it pretty well telling her “we will fight this!” and giving her support
for her 13-year-old son - who now knows
for her medical doctors and caregivers, that Our Heavenly Father may give them knowledge, wisdom, discernment, and everything they may need to help B.B.
for God to touch this family and for them to see “how great is our God” and get even closer to Him
for any other blessing He has in store for this family for the asking and we have not asked Him for it .

Of course it goes without saying that Our Lord knows what to grant first! After all, He does know better!

We thank God that the cancer has not spread and that B.B. does not have to deal with both the long-time illness and the cancer at the same time!

B.B.'s blood work was not quite right . . . Doctor’s appointment for that is next week and she continues in much pain.

Please let us pray that:
the blood test return to normal,
that the pain medication works for her, and
that the radiation and chemo will get rid of the cancer.

:extrahappy: Thanksgiving: to Our Lord for a special, unexpected favor (maybe because of the last, bolded petition below ) Our Heavenly Father has granted B.B.:extrahappy:. We thank Our Lord for that!! He is worthy!

The chemo has given B.B. nausea and resulting dehydration because nothing stays down. In turn, this started a kidney problem for which she was hospitalized yesterday…

The chemo was been changed, but she has not had the new one yet.

Prayer for Chemotherapy

May it be Your will, merciful and healing Father, to lead me on this journey in peace, to accompany me in peace, to stand by my side and to give me life, health, happiness and peace. Give me the strength to bear this cancer with dignity, and the power to endure it and be healed. Protect me from pain, sadness and despair, and from all the discomforts that are drawing near. Send skill, wisdom and understanding to my doctors and nurses, Your faithful messengers, to sow goodness and light in my body. Help the chemicals accurately do their work, rooting out disease and bringing compassion to the healthy parts of my body making room for the good to strengthen and take root.

Wrap me in goodness so that I will be strong of body and spirit, to live a good, full life. Give me the strength to traverse this difficult period with joy and faith – with a closeness to You.

Help me stay mindful of my family and friends who are walking this road with me, and who, with me, raise their eyes to You, Knower of all mysteries. Through Christ our Lord, amen.

She continues fighting the cancer. Per yesterday’s update, she is in the hospital with kidney infection due to dehydration. How wonderfully and intrically God has created us! Please also pray for her medical caregivers and, of course, in thanksgiving to Our Heavenly Father for all the gifts and graces He has showered upon this Family – because He is worthy of our thanks!

She continues fighting the cancer. Per Wednesday’s update, she is in the hospital with kidney infection due to dehydration. How wonderfully and intricately God has created us! Please also pray for her medical caregivers and, of course, in thanksgiving to Our Heavenly Father for all the gifts and graces He has showered upon this Family – because He is worthy of our thanks!

Prayer for B.B.'s Health

Lord, Master of all creation
Through Whose Word the whole cosmos was created out of nothing. Not “made”.
Lord, we cannot even fathom nothing or nothingness.
You Who gave all the order and balance in the created world we can see and
…so tiny we cannot see;
You Who are so powerful, mighty, and knowing
You Who from the time of Abraham and Moises have done so many wondrous deeds
Look with favor upon Your daughter B.B. and have compassion on her.
Please give her the strength to go through the radiation and chemo therapies.
Please let these treatments eradicate the cancer that has attacked her.
Let her feel and see Your immense love for her and her family
and draw her closer to Yourself;
heal her from her long-time illness so that she would attest to Your
…goodness and greatness.
Please grant her Dad all the graces he needs or may need to help his daughter.
Please Lord, turn all these trials into blessings for this family, Your children.

O merciful Father,
Who have wonderfully fashioned man in Your own image,
and have made his body to be a temple of the Holy Spirit,
sanctify, we pray You, our doctors and nurses and all those whom you have called to
…study and practice the arts of healing the sick and the prevention of disease and pain.
Strengthen them in body and soul,
and bless their work,
that they may give comfort to those for whose salvation Your Son became Man,
lived on this earth, healed the sick,
and suffered and died on the Cross.
