Thank you over and over again for all your prayers for B.B.

May 23, 2017, Update:

Please keep praying for B.B. She got up with a swollen leg, a biopsy of a Lymph node at the top of the leg was taken, and the test shows it has cancer. She will start chemo some time this week. The “original” cancer appears to be the same. She was told the meds she had been taking for the other illness counteracted the chemo. She was taken off those. She is very weak.

Please pray for her, her medical team, her Dad and her son.

First, I want to thank you again for all your prayers . . . am so touched. Thank you.

Last Thursday she told me that the last radiation treatment is this coming Monday, March 27. She has lost some 60 pounds. She continues in pain.

The doctors had told her at the start that this is an easy cancer to treat, but now they say they thought her body was stronger than what it is.

The doctors told her that they will test her again in two months to see if the treatments worked.

Please continue praying for B.B., her Medical Doctors/Technicians, her Dad who is the one keeping it all going, and her son. There is no “good” order to put this in, but God knows.

I forgot to say she has been in the hospital since Tuesday. The medical doctors are giving a slim hope that she will make it, but they are not God Who may do any thing at all.

Lord Jesus,
Please let her live so her son enjoys having a Mom after the age of 14.
Please Lord,
Her Dad just had his son die in March.
Please don’t let his daughter die now.
By the merits of Your Beloved Son, Our Lord, grant her full recovery.
Grant her the will to live if she does not have it.
You always know what is best, and thank You, Heavenly Father., for looking out for us.
Amen.

Heavenly Father,
Creator of all and source of all goodness and love,
please look kindly upon us,
as we ask for forgiveness for not giving You thanks.
Please receive our heartfelt apology for the lack of gratitude.
Remind us at all times that You are always worthy of our thanks.

Thank You, Heavenly Father,
for all the graces and blessings
You have bestowed upon us:
our faith and religious heritage;
the Priests who bring us the Sacraments;
our life, food and shelter;
our health, the love we have for one another;
our Police Officers and Firefighters who keep us safe;
our Soldiers and Veterans who fight and fought for our Country;

Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity, please grant us the grace of having

Thank you every-one who posted prayers, those who prayed without posting, and to Pollylodges for all your prayers.

Am sad to say that BB passed away yesterday morning at the hospital in the company of her loved ones.

I have started a thread for prayers for the repose of her soul at A Prayer for BB’s Soul where we may pray for the repose of her soul and for her son and her dad.

May this self-admonition from St. Teresa be as helpful to you and yours as it has always been for my family.
