I want to say, as a cradle Catholic revert, that I am deeply impressed and edified at the number of converts who hang out on these forums. In a time when Christianity, especially Catholicism, is increasingly belittled, scorned, even attacked, your courage is an inspiration to all of us.For those entering the Church this Easter, welcome home to full participation in the Body of Christ! You will find in the Catholic Church an incomparable depth and breadth of food for your soul–riches upon riches.

Great post! Welcome home to all who are joining the Church this evening. I converted 4 years ago and have never regretted it for one minute.

Welcome to the only Christian Church that can trace its origins back to Jesus Christ himself. Thank you for being witnesses to the Truth.

Welcome newcomers! Remember, tonight isn’t a “graduation ceremony.” It is the beginning of a rich tremendously rewarding journey. We are honored to have you with us.

Yes. Welcome home, all! Let us all give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.

Welcome home! I converted 10 years ago and have no regrets. The journey the last 10 years has had its ups and downs, but I remained a faithful Catholic.
May you persevere and may your faith remain strong and may God bless you on your journey!

I am filled with joy to proclaim that I was one of 9 elect to be baptized along with about 20 candidates who received confirmation and holy communion last night! It was a journey of at least 20 years for me.

1,000 Congratulations!!!

Welcome! Happy Easter! Christ is risen!

Alleluia!!!

Baptized last night after 61 years in darkness. I feel like a newborn.

Thank you!!! I went to Confession on Holy Saturday and came back to the Catholic Church after leaving for the Orthodox Church 15 years ago. Please pray that God strengths my Faith.

Please pray that my husband, a cradle Catholic who rejected the Church in favor of Assembly of God, will also quickly be lead back to the Catholic Church so we can be united in worship together as a family. One of his difficulties that he’ll need to overcome will be that his extended family are practicing Catholics on Sunday, but are Alcoholics every weekend & holiday. My husband was only able to be freed from alcoholism after turning his life to Christ as a Protestant Christian. He’s also been brainwashed against Mary and Saints as expected in an Assembly of God setting. On the upside, he doesn’t read the Bible as a Protestant, so the more he begins to, the more likely he’ll be to encounter that Jesus established One Church and discover the Teachings of the Catholic Church in the Bible.

Tomorrow, I get to call the parish to schedule a meeting with the priest so we can figure out if my 6 year old needs to become Catholic? She can already receive Holy Communion in the Catholic Church via Code of Canon Law 844.3, but she’s the only one of our 5 children NOT Baptised a Catholic, she was Baptised & Chrismated Orthodox & receiving Communion since infancy. This may be a little confusing.

I hope that once my husband reverts to Catholicism, that the rest of our 4 children, ages 13-23, & our son-in-law decide to follow his lead. And hopefully, the live in boyfriend, an atheist, of one of our adult daughters’ converts as well.

Prayers please 📿:pray:t3:📿:pray:t4:📿
