^I know this may sound off…but wow from that last post…God’s got a sence of humor…
…here I was sulking, pouting and trying to picka fight and get people mad (to even score a warning…) to display my own stubborness in not forgiving and on comes someone who AGREES with me…
…now I am more confused…ahh well if I could understand God then He wouldn’t be God…

It’s just a matter of faith.
God IS just AND merciful AND everything in between.

Go with God!

I’ll buy that. Isn’t that one of those paradox things taken on faith ?

Karl Keating covered that on a recent radio program.

Simply said " God is both" He cannot be merciful without his justice. Just as pain is weakness leaving the body. Justice is the brother of mercy they go hand in hand. When jesus forgave he said" Woman, neither do I condem you (mercy) now go and sin no more"(justice) if she continues to sin.

How do we as Christians reconcile the notion of a just God vs a merciful God? That is, if God is all just, then He gives us what we deserve; if God is all merciful, then He does not give us what we deserve?
There is no “versus.”
