I was born a catholic, baptized a catholic, did my 1st communion as a catholic and by the age of 12 God nor religion was in my plans. I had lived 15 years without faith and things were not too well for me.
I met a girl, who was a Baptist christian. When she asked me of my religion. I told her I had none. She then tried to make me go to her church. I attended one day. There was a bit of Catholic bashing. It kind of upset me. So I wanted to debunk the myths of Catholicism that was put into my girlfriend’s head. But since I had been gone from the Catholic church I had no means of debunking them. One day I searched through Google for Catholic Apologetic websites. This one was one of the first that came out. I sat there for hours on end reading the posts and it just blew me away. Not only did I want to come back to the one and only Catholic church, but I learned so many things, so many questions were answered. You guys are great soldiers of Christ and I thank you all. For helping me come back to the church and for helping me CONVERT my girlfriend as well to the one true Church of Christ.
Keep up the great work. For it does not fall upon deaf ears and blind eyes.
I hope to one day become an Apologetic as well and everyday I dedicate a few hours to it. Since I am moving down South where Baptist religion is dominant, I am going to need it. Hopefully I can debunk the myths and lies that people speak of the CC. With the help of the Lord, maybe I can convert some people as well.
