The Pope I doubt actually reads much of the mail he gets.

It’s why he has a secretary. And even that secretary has others who help him out.

AFA the “policy” against birth control, it would be prudent for people who see it as such, to read and understanding on the teachings within the Didache.

The Church has been following this “policy”, which is more accurately called a teaching, for 1900 years. Yes, that is one thousand, nine hundred years.

Just remember to address him as Your Holiness, and not just Dear Pope.

Along with the fact that your letter is a little different, in an interview with Msgr. Georg Gänswein, the Holy Father’s Secretary, the Holy Father does not read any mail from anyone of lower rank than a male religious superior. Even when he gets letters from cardinals, Ordinaries and male religious superiors, the Msgr said that he filters the letters to make sure that the Holy Father only gets what he’s interested in reading. Everything else is forwarded to one of the other departments in the Vatican or to one of the Prefects. The only letters that he passes on from the laity are from dignitaries or very special cases, one of them being sick children. The Holy Father loves to receive those letters. He has a special place in his heart for sick children.

I don’t remember him/her mentioning that more people speak Klingon than Latin in Seattle! I have lived in Seattle more than 30 years, and I’ve yet to meet any one who spoke Klingon. I speak some Lapine, in addition to my Spanish, German, and some Latin, but I’ve yet to hear anyone speaking Klingon–and I was married to a Trekkie!
