I think it’s just the difference between the culture about veils- and religion, too. My ancestors were not Catholic so many of the practices have derived from other religions. However, now that majority of my family members are Christians, we disregard all of these practices. But sackclothes have nothing to do with religion in my culture so people still wear them!
Hmm…some veil companies sew the veils for you so it will be more convenient to put the veil on! I had my comb attached to the veil- and it’s great!
